The Demon Catchers of Milan(25)

12643556Well first there was no demon catching. So Hello Title big lie. But i mean it wasn’t a bad book but it wasn’t a book that makes me want to read the sequal. Like it was pretty much about a family of exorcist but they have some big secret. The secret i do not know at all though. So don’t ask me what it was. It was well written but that’s pretty much all the good stuff I can say about it. So i am Generous when i give its ranking just because i really think it need a little more. i will read the sequel though if there happens to be on out of curiosity. Also i’m not sure when she fell in and out of love as it says in the description because there was no boy for her to fall in love with. I am just saying.

So my final judgment of this book is a 3 out of 5. I honestly do think it just need a little more and it would have been awesome.

Description on The Back of the Book

Mia’s ordinary life is disrupted in the most horrifying way possible when she is possessed by a hungry and powerful demon–and only saved by the arrival of relatives from Italy, the country her grandfather fled many decades ago. Now her cousins Emilio and Giuliano say the only way to keep her safe is for her to come back with them to Milan, to live, to learn Italian, to fall in and out of love, and to master the family trade: fighting all demons with the lore of bell, book, and candle. Milan is not what Mia expected, but it will change her forever, in this stunningly well-written novel about an American girl who, fleeing an ancient evil, finds her only salvation in her ancestral home.

Fifty Shades Darker: Fifty Shades Trilogy (20)

So I don’t understand how its darker for one. I think it has a lighter mood then the first book. It is still a good book. It has a lighter mood. except for the fact that there is almost kidnappings, and crazy hostel takeover. I loved it but hated it at the same time. I wanted it to have a little more. It was good though. It shows a different side to Mr. Grey and shows Ana as a different person. It allows you to understand more about Mr. Grey and what he is feeling and what hes been through.

I give it a 5 out of 5

Hex Hall Series: Hex Hall, Demon Glass, & Spell Bound (8,9,10)

The Hex Hall Series as a whole is just amazing I loved reading about Sophie Mercer finding out who she really was. I also enjoyed how it made me think so differently about demons and witches. Even the people who hunt them and all the thing they go through.

Hex Hall: Book One

Hex Hall is a great book. Rachel Hawkins did a great job writing it. Sophie Mercer thought she was a witch and tried to uses her powers to help people. That’s what gets her sent to Hex Hall which is like juvi for paranormal beings. It’s there she learns more about a world that she never knew existed. It is at Hex hall she learns that things are never truly like they seem.
Hex Hal is a wonderful book. I never knew what to expect next. I enjoyed every moment reading it. I recommend adding it to your collection or borrowing it from your local library
I give it a 5 out of 5
Description on the Back of the Book

Three years ago, Sophie Mercer discovered that she was a witch! It’s gotten her into a few scrapes. Her non-gifted mother has been as supportive as possible, consulting Sophie’s estranged father-an elusive European warlock-only when necessary. But when Sophie attracts too much human attention for a prom-night spell gone horribly wrong, it’s her dad who decides her punishment: exile to Hex Hall, an isolated reform school for wayward Prodigium, a.k.a. witches, faeries, and shape shifters. By the end of her first day among fellow freak-teens, Sophie has quite a scorecard: three powerful enemies who look like supermodels, a futile crush on a gorgeous warlock, a creepy tagalong ghost, and a new roommate who happens to be the most hated person and only vampire on campus. Worse, Sophie soon learns that a mysterious predator has been attacking students, and her only friend is the number-one suspect. As a series of blood-curdling mysteries starts to converge, Sophie prepares for the biggest threat of all: an ancient secret society determined to destroy all Prodigium, especially her.

Demon Glass: Book 2

Sophie goes from thinking she’s a witch to finding out she is a demon. That doesn’t go over very well with her at all. So she decides she wants to go through the removal. Witch is a way for her to get rid of all her powers. she doesn’t want to be come a monster who can blame her. Her dad isn’t on her side when it comes to getting the removal done. So he ask her to spend the summer with him in London to try to change her mind.

Demon Glass is a great addition to the Hex Hall series. It left m on my toes. I never knew what to expect next. It has way more action the first book in the series and that’s saying a lot cause there was a lot of action in the first story. It has a great combination of romance, comedy and action.
I give it a 4.5 out of 5
Description on the Book of the Book

Sophie Mercer thought she was a witch, that was the whole reason she was sent to Hex Hall, a reform school for delinquent Prodigium. But that was before she discovered the family secret and that her hot crush, Archer Cross is an agent for the eye, a group bent on wiping Prodigium off the face of the earth. Turns out, Sophie’s a demon , one of only two in the world, the other being her father. What’s worse, she has powers that threaten the lives of everyone she loves. Which is precisely why Sophie decides she must go to London for the Removal,a dangerous procedure that will destroy her powers. But once Sophie arrives she makes a shocking discovery. Her new friends? They’re demons too. Meaning someone is raising them in secret with creepy plans to use their powers, and probably not for good. Meanwhile, The Eye is set on hunting Sophie down, and they’re using Acher to do it. But it’s not like she has feelings for him anymore. Does she?

Spell Bound:Book 3

This is the conclusion to the Hex Hall series. I am truly sad. I fell in love with this series from the moment i picked up Hex hall and read about a young but strong willed girl. Who had to make many choices that hurt and brought pain to many different people but the ends justified the means. As the say in the story. She learned the meaning of true sacrifice. All I can say is wonderful It is a great conclusion to the Hex hall series and i loved every moment reading it. I defiantly recommend reading it if you can get your hands on a copy.

I give it a 5 out of 5
