About Book:

It’s a beautiful day for a war.

As the mortal world slowly slips into chaos of the godly kind, Alexandria Andros must overcome a stunning defeat that has left her shaken and in doubt of their ability to end this war once and for all.

And with all the obstacles between Alex and her happily-ever-after with the swoonworthy Aiden St. Delphi, they must now trust a deadly foe as they travel deep into the Underworld to release one of the most dangerous gods of all time.

In the stunning, action-packed climax to the bestselling Covenant series, Alex must face a terrible choice: the destruction of everything and everyone she holds dear… or the end of herself.

My Thoughts:

So somethings been bothering me… she had her birth control shot six months ago or more right when did she get a new one? Especially since all the crazy stuff and there has been a lot of not sleeping lately… Just Saying……

Ok so I’m sad that there will be no more Alex, Seth, or Aiden 😦 I loved them all tones. Seriously this was a great conclusion to the Covenant series. I mean this story had me crying then wanting to punch people. Apollo is truly amazing he gave Alex a wonderful gift at the end. The thing is well Seth. He is honestly wow. He awes me I love who he is…. well became i so can’t wait for The Return! I hope it comes out sooner than the expected publication date. Anyway’s Sentinel the conclusion to the Covenant series was epic. There was a lot of loss but in the end it was good because everything that happened ended up helping save the world. Once again J.L.A. has made a great book in an amazing series.

Aiden

He showed how greedy he could be when it comes to Alex. He understood that he could lose her and couldn’t well didn’t want to risk that he was amazing. I loved seeing Aiden like this.

Seth

I honestly love him. He honored Alex’s last request above and beyond. He really awed me. He is becoming an amazing person. I loved reading every moment. I love him!

This is a fun read but also sad because it ended my adventure with Alex who is a very loveable character. I think this is a read that any fan of J.L.A should read. The who series was great. I cried and laughed it was a hard goodbye but well worth it.

The warm, squirrely sensation festering in my gut grew stronger with each second that passed. Despite my best efforts to ignore it, and him, I finally gave in and looked over my shoulder. I was immediately sorry I’d done so.

Jet eyes filled with what appeared to be a heavy amount of disgust regarded me coolly. I frowned and glanced down at my feet, insecurity smothering me like a thick blanket. Why was he mean mugging me? I didn’t know him. He didn’t know me. Why was he so pissed?

I took a chance and dared another peek in his direction. I was shocked to find him glaring at me still, his expression angrier if that were even possible.

He crossed his arms over his chest and raised a brow. “Seriously? You’re just gonna stand there and look pretty the entire period? How ‘bout you at least move out of the way so the rest of us can get what we need?”

I blanched, unable to speak, let alone move. In another circumstance, I’d feel giddy about his reference to my “being pretty”, but as it stood, I felt sick. Clearly irritated, a healthy dose of sarcasm coated his deep voice. Why were there never any holes around when you needed them? I was ready to crawl into one and assume the fetal position.

“Back off, asshat,” Erin snapped. She brushed past me and opened the cupboard I’d been standing in front of, and pulled out a stack of aprons. With a huff, she snatched an aging blue apron from the top of the pile and flung it at my handsome hater, the soft cotton fabric hitting him in the face. “She’s new and doesn’t know where everything is yet.”

He didn’t say anything else; just scowled for what I assumed he felt was good measure before pulling a ball of pastry dough out of the small refrigerator below.

“Ignore him,” Erin said, as she handed me an apron. “Bodie Scott is a douche with a bad temper, and totally not worth your time.”

I mashed my lips together and gave her a nod, doing my best to ignore the pang of hurt whirling in my chest, and the odd tingling sensation skimming across my flesh. My short time at Grant High thus far had been anything but great. I’d been heckled by a group of Victoria Secret Angel wannabes. I’d flirted with a hot guy who turned out to be dating the one person who’d tried to befriend me. For reasons unknown to me, I’d pissed off the only other guy I’d come across in ages who’d had any sort of impact on me. If the morning’s events were any indicator of how the rest of my day would be, I was screwed.

BOOK SUMMARY:

Northern was supposed to be a fresh start—a place where people didn’t know who I was or how I had spent years in and out of mental institutes. People didn’t know about my parents death or the island no one heard of. But when Peter sits next to me in lit class, I can’t stop the memories, and I don’t want to. He looks too much like the boy from the island, and despite my best intentions, coaxes my secrets from me.

He’s gorgeous, irresistible, a little mad, and completely lost—we are a pair of broken cogs in a world neither of us truly fits into. And he listens when I talk, about the past and the terrifying future. He is somehow gentle and fierce, heartbreaking in his devotion and savage in his defense.

When Belle, his best friend, shows up, pale and lovely and sick, Peter pulls away from me, a startling withdrawal. It’s a relationship that scares and confuses me. She is at times warm and friendly, and other times is violent and unpredictable.

Peter says that he wants me, but refuses to let himself get close. And there are secrets, surrounding both of us, that border on nightmares. As the memories close in, as Belle gets sicker and more violent, I’m torn between what is true and what I believe, and what this magical boy knows about my mysterious past.

*Suitable for 17+. A romantic contemporary retelling of the boy who never grew up.

There exists a secret band of brothers like no other-six vampire warriors, defenders of their race. Possessed by a deadly beast, Rhage is the most dangerous of the Black Dagger Brotherhood.
Within the brotherhood, Rhage is the vampire with the strongest appetites. He’s the best fighter, the quickest to act on his impulses, and the most voracious lover-for inside him burns a ferocious curse cast by the Scribe Virgin. Owned by this dark side, Rhage fears the time when his inner dragon is unleashed, making him a danger to everyone around him.

Mary Luce, a survivor of many hardships is unwittingly thrown into the vampire world and reliant on Rhage’s protection. With a life-threatening curse of her own, Mary is not looking for love. She lost her faith in miracles years ago. But when Rhage’s intense animal attraction turns into something more emotional, he knows that he must make Mary his alone. And while their enemies close in, Mary fights desperately to gain life eternal with the one she loves..

My Thoughts:

Lover Eternal is the story of Rhage and Mary. Shockingly I am thinking that Rhage is better than Wrath and I love Wrath. The second book in the series is just wow. I love Rhage so much it’s not even funny. He finds himself falling loving love with someone which was something he didn’t think possible. Mary is just an amazing woman. She expects and loves Rhage more than anything. She finds herself falling in love with him when even when she is trying to push him away. This was just another wonderful addition to The Black Dagger brotherhood. I love how strong Mary is and it leaves me in awe. This is a great book to read if you have yet to read it.

About Book: Fifteen-year-old Izzy Brannick was trained to fight monsters. For centuries, her family has hunted magical creatures. But when Izzy’s older sister vanishes without a trace while on a job, Izzy’s mom decides they need to take a break.

For a tough girl who’s always been on her own, it’s strange to suddenly make friends and maybe even have a crush.

Can Izzy trust her new friends to help find the secret behind the hauntings before more people get hurt?

Rachel Hawkins’ delightful spin-off brings the same wit and charm as theNew York Times best-selling Hex Hall series. Get ready for more magic, mystery and romance!

My Thoughts: I was nervous to read this book Why? well Hex Hall is one of my fave series. Also one of the first book series I blogged about so School Spirits was a book I had wanted to read for a while now. So now that I have read it I’m in awe it was awesome.  I’m seriously hoping for a sequel. Izzy id as awesome as Sophie. She is brave and has a big heart. Rachel Hawkins has once again awed me with her awesome writing skills. I love hearing Izzy’s confusion over such simple high school things but she really awed me though she is brave through and through. So I found myself just like with the Hex Hall series not wanting to put it down.

The love interest Dex is well he is perfect. He isn’t to crazy or overwhelming. He’s a boy who likes a girl and vice versa. I love that they have a connection that had been so magical that Izzy thought he was a prodigiam. That is definitely a way to say their connection was magical. The first kiss was amazing I loved Izzy’s reaction to it. This whole book awed me with its typical high school tid bits mixed with the whole paranormal world. Izzy is a girl who knows what her job is but also knows what it is to be human and have a heart. She is definitely brave and did the right thing when it needed to be. I think I love her just as much if not more than Sophie.

The Setting was nice it made me curious to see a small town in Mississippi(Mental Note Visit Bestie) This was a fun thing because it’s just how I would picture a small town would look.

So this book is definitely a good read. Izzy just like Sophie has casted her spell on me.

His brow wrinkled. ‘a what I am simply trying to make you feel more confident about your say by giving you confident about your day by giving you a small speech on you many Virtues’ “

” ‘ Lovely,’ I muttered, walking father back into the cave. As I did, I had to crouch slightly. Dex had to practically fold in half

‘Who ever used to hang out here, they must have been pretty tine.’ I looked.

Dex turned his flashlight on me.
