About Book: “I won’t tell anyone, Echo. I promise.” Noah tucked a curl behind my ear. It had been so long since someone touched me like he did. Why did it have to be Noah Hutchins? His dark brown eyes shifted to my covered arms. “You didn’t do that-did you? It was done to you?” No one ever asked that question. They stared. They whispered. They laughed. But they never asked.
So wrong for each other…and yet so right.
No one knows what happened the night Echo Emerson went from popular girl with jock boyfriend to gossiped-about outsider with “freaky” scars on her arms. Even Echo can’t remember the whole truth of that horrible night. All she knows is that she wants everything to go back to normal. But when Noah Hutchins, the smoking-hot, girl-using loner in the black leather jacket, explodes into her life with his tough attitude and surprising understanding, Echo’s world shifts in ways she could never have imagined. They should have nothing in common. And with the secrets they both keep, being together is pretty much impossible.Yet the crazy attraction between them refuses to go away. And Echo has to ask herself just how far they can push the limits and what she’ll risk for the one guy who might teach her how to love again.
First let me say that this book had a ton of buzz that’s what made me want to read this book. Then reading the synopsis made me think great good girl falls for bad boy clieche. I was beyond wrong. This is a story that bares the two main characters emotional and physical scares. It is an amazing book that shows you how the most unlikely things can bring people together.
This story has so many things that anyone could relate to. I loved Echo I loved seeing her slowly come out of her shell. She started to become a strong person with the support of Noah and her best friend. I think that even though she went through hell and had survived most of it by herself with them it made it more bearable in the end. Then there is Noah who I loved in a brotherly sense due to the fact he reminds me of my older brother. The way he is with his two younger brothers is exactly how my brother was with me. Always worried about me and constantly concerned about me. It was great to see that Noah’s appearance was mor of a mask then who he really was. He was just trying to do the right thing by his family. This book has many aspects that I could talk about but there would never be enough words. It was nice to enjoy a book where it was about two people finding their way to a new normal as much as it was about them falling in love with each other. I didn’t feel overwhelmed with them falling in love like some books make me feel at times. this truly was a wonderful book that I fully enjoyed. I would recommend this to anyone who loves a good book… no great book. I give this book 5 out of 5 stars
