Description of the Book:Sure, the life of a graduate student wasn’t exactly glamorous, but it was Merit’s. She was doing fine until a rogue vampire attacked her. But he only got a sip before he was scared away by another bloodsucker-and this one decided the best way to save her life was to make her the walking undead.
Turns out her savior was the master vampire of Cadogan House. Now she’s traded sweating over her thesis for learning to fit in at a Hyde Park mansion full of vamps loyal to Ethan “Lord o’ the Manor” Sullivan. Of course, as a tall, green-eyed, four-hundred- year-old vampire, he has centuries’ worth of charm, but unfortunately he expects her gratitude- and servitude. But an inconvenient sunlight allergy and Ethan’s attitude are the least of her concerns. Someone’s still out to get her. Her initiation into Chicago’s nightlife may be the first skirmish in a war-and there will be blood.
Pre-Read: I’ve Been wanting to read this for months now 🙂
So far so amazing I would totally be like Merit
Yeah best Vampire Series ive read by far. Love it already going to go buy book 2
Wow I am in love with this series and I’ve only read one book so far. Its amazing. Merit is a strong women vampire in a world she didn’t want to be apart of in the first place. She is kick ass. Sorry about my word choice but she really is. She has to face a big change that she never asked for. Deal with crap she never wanted. I love it because even though she is pissed at her circumstances she takes them and deals with it the best she can’t. She chooses to accept the things she wouldn’t have chosen given a the chance. The is an amazing beginning to a series. I am hooked and madly in love with Morgan. If you read you know who I’m talking about if you haven’t you should because you will be in love with one of the many heart throbs in it. This is a book definitely worth picking up from your local library or book store. It is worth the read to I didn’t want to put it down once I started and i’m sad that it’s over. 😦 So if you have time pick it share with friends I honestly don’t think you will regret it. 🙂
Rating: I give it a 5 out of 5
