But should people learn about the Raves–mass feeding parties where vampires round up humans like cattle–the citizens will start sharpening their stakes.

So now it’s up to the new vampire Merit to reconnect with her upper class family and act as liaison between humans and bloodsuckers, and keep the more unsavory aspects of the vampire lifestyle out of the media. But someone doesn’t want peace between them–someone with an ancient grudge.

  • Yay MOrgan
  • Hate ethan
  • OMG WHYYYYY

Overall Thoughts: Oh Chloe Neill you have wowed me again. I love this series. I’m sitting her waiting anxiously for book 3,4,5,6,7,8,9, and 10 because well hello i must know what happens. I want Merit to be with Morgan because well I love Morgan he’s an all around Sweetie and well Ethan is well he’s a jerk. I don’t like him I mean as a leader he rocks as a boy to fall for he sucks big time. That’s how I felt anyways until I got to the ending and I saw how much of a jerk Morgan Really is I mean big woop you didn’t get the girl but you never trusted her what kind of relationship would you have had anyways. I am still not a fan of Ethan I mean hes still a major jerk for not knowing how he really feels about Merit. All in all i love this series it is amazing and i cant get enough.

Rating: I give it a 5 out of 5.

Happy Reading!

Edition:Kindle

Length: 256 Pages

Genre:Chick Lit, young Adult, Contemporary

Age Group:13 & up

Description of the Book:Meant to be or not meant to be . . . that is the question.

It’s one thing to fall head over heels into a puddle of hazelnut coffee, and quite another to fall for the—gasp—wrong guy. Straight-A junior Julia may be accident prone, but she’s queen of following rules and being prepared. That’s why she keeps a pencil sharpener in her purse and a pocket Shakespeare in her, well, pocket. And that’s also why she’s chosen Mark Bixford, her childhood crush, as her MTB (“meant to be”).

But this spring break, Julia’s rules are about to get defenestrated (SAT word: to be thrown from a window) when she’s partnered with her personal nemesis, class-clown Jason, on a school trip to London. After one wild party, Julia starts receiving romantic texts . . . from an unknown number! Jason promises to help discover the identity of her mysterious new suitor if she agrees to break a few rules along the way. And thus begins a wild goose chase through London, leading Julia closer and closer to the biggest surprise of all: true love.

Because sometimes the things you least expect are the most meant to be.

Pre-Read: I Judged a book by its cover

While Reading:  I love a good romance 🙂

Overall Thoughts:Reasons i loved this story it wasn’t one of those boy meets girl blah blah blah things you know the type. It took the main time to discover what love was really like what it really meant when someone was meant to be. I loved this book. I would read it over and over again. It is realistic when it tells you that love isn’t about fairy tales. It’s about finding a person you can wake up with that makes life worth while that is why i loved this book. There are so many books that make you feel like you need mr right. This book the main fell for mr wrong. Mr right turned out being the last guy she would have ever wanted. That is what made this a fun book to read you go on chasing mr right when he’s been in front of you the whole time. I recommend you pick it up and fall in love with it just like I did.

Love and Other Perishible Items (59)

Author: Laura Buzo

Edition: Kindle Edition

Pages/Length:256

Published:December 11th 2012

Publisher:Knopf Books for Young Readers

Genre:YA, contemporary, Romance

Age Group:14& Up

Description of the Book:Love is awkward, Amelia should know.

From the moment she sets eyes on Chris, she is a goner. Lost. Sunk. Head over heels infatuated with him. It’s problematic, since Chris, 21, is a sophisticated university student, while Amelia, is 15.

Amelia isn’t stupid. She knows it’s not gonna happen. So she plays it cool around Chris—at least, as cool as she can. Working checkout together at the local supermarket, they strike up a friendship: swapping life stories, bantering about everything from classic books to B movies, and cataloging the many injustices of growing up. As time goes on, Amelia’s crush doesn’t seem so one-sided anymore. But if Chris likes her back, what then? Can two people in such different places in life really be together?

Through a year of befuddling firsts—first love, first job, first party, and first hangover—debut author Laura Buzo shows how the things that break your heart can still crack you up

Pre-Read: I’m in love with Romance novels

While Reading: I have never viewed the world like this.

Overall Thoughts: I really enjoyed this book. It was a sweet story about a girls first big crush. Also how someone older is getting over someone they loved dearly. Slowly sees the light because of someone who is younger. Though there are no romantic feelings. I loved feeling everything Amelia is going through. Then at the same time understanding Chris and his emotions through his diaries. It shows how difficult things can be for people to be at two different places in their lives to try to make sense of everything that they feel. I mean I don’t think it ever gets better with age but it is a good story. Its makes me think of when things were so simple that you could think i want to be with you so its ok. its a great story about first and growing. Which is always a scary thing to go through.

Rating: I give it a 5 out of 5 because simply put it is a lovely story.

Happy Reading!

Crimson Frost: a Mythos Academy Novel, Book 4 (58)

Series:a Mythos Academy Novel Book 4

Author: Jennifer Estep

Edition:Paperback

Pages/Length:354

Published:December 24th 201

Publisher:K-Teen

Source: Library

Genre:YA, Fantasy, Mythology, Urban Fantasy

Age Group: 14& up

Description of the Book:For a moment, a face flashed before my eyes—the most hideous face I’d ever seen. No matter how hard I tried to forget what had happened, I saw him everywhere I went. It was Loki—the evil god that I’d helped set free against my will.

I should have known that my first official date with Logan Quinn was destined to end in disaster. If we’d gotten into a sword fight, or been ambushed by Reapers, I’d have been more prepared. But getting arrested mid-sip at the local coffee hangout? I didn’t see that one coming.

I’ve been accused of purposely helping the Reapers free Loki from his prison—and the person leading the charge against me is Linus Quinn, Logan’s dad. The worst part is that pretty much everyone at Mythos Academy thinks I’m guilty. If I’m going to get out of this mess alive, I’ll have to do it myself…

YAY!! Hot Spartan so excited 🙂
While Reading:
Soo far actually interesting!

Overall Thoughts:
I have been reading this series and had a love hate relationship with it. I love Gwen she’s a kick but girl who is making her way in the world. I love her love interest aka the hot spartan. I got a little bored with kiss of frost and dark frost to be honest. I almost didn’t read this one but I found my self wondering what was going to happen. I needed to know.  So I caved and started to read. It was so amazing I had been wanting more. Needed more and I finally got more. I actually didn’t figure out what was going to happen next. I am uberly happy about that. 🙂 this is a great addition to the Mythos Academy series. I would have never thought that any of the things that happened would happen. It was a great read. There was more suspense. There was more thrill. It was a nice quick read for me and I can say I am excited to read book 5 Midnight Frost. if you’ve read the first three I recommend you pick it up. It’s a good read. Jennifer Estep had an idea when she wrote this books. I am so excited to read the next two editions to the series.
Rating:I give it a 4 out of 5.
