Chosen Book 3 in The House of Night Series (27)

1326258So by far my fave out of all the house of night books well 1-3 anyways. I loved it because it was a little more simplified to where she was trying to protect her friends but by doing that she had to lie to them. And well we all know that lying gets you know where but with a rotten sack of potatoes. Then she has the whole three boyfriends problem. Which sucks for her because there is one she wants to be with really but some how everything gets all messed up. Like the fact that ones an older guy aka older vampire one a baby vampire and ones a human. That along with the fact that her best friend who was dead but is not dead now. Well shes undead. Things just go upside down for Zoey redbird and she is pretty much going though the normal teenage drama but at a new extreme i think that’s why i love it so much. It left me wanting more. It was just awesome. I think everyone should read the house of night series just because it’s not just about random teenage romance like a lot of paranormal books lately its about actually going through change. Then also trying to deal with a bunch of responsiblity that she never asked for.  So i have to say it was just great reading this book. so i give it

5 out of 5

Happy Reading!

Always

Description on the back of the book

Dark forces are at work at the House of Night and fledgling vampyre Zoey Redbird’s adventures at the school take a mysterious turn.  Those who appear to be friends are turning out to be enemies.  And oddly enough, sworn enemies are also turning into friends.  So begins the gripping third installment of this “highly addictive series” (Romantic Times), in which Zoey’s mettle will be tested like never before.  Her best friend, Stevie Rae, is undead and struggling to maintain a grip on her humanity. Zoey doesn’t have a clue how to help her, but she does know that anything she and Stevie Rae discover must be kept secret from everyone else at the House of Night, where trust has become a rare commodity.  Speaking of rare: Zoey finds herself in the very unexpected and rare position of having three boyfriends. Mix a little bloodlust into the equation and the situation has the potential to spell social disaster.  Just when it seems things couldn’t get any tougher, vampyres start turning up dead. Really dead. It looks like the People of Faith, and Zoey’s horrid step-father in particular, are tired of living side-by-side with vampyres.  But, as Zoey and her friends so often find out, how things appear rarely reflects the truth…
